Description
Two dies (obverse and reverse) with a separate centre piece (with central hole) contained in a green felt lined wooden (oak) hinged lid box. One compartment can be removed to reveal the third piece. Metal (?Steel) dies. The dies were used to cast the Royal Astronomical Society Gold medal between Feb. 1824 to Jan. 1984.
