With many conferences cancelled this year, the Royal Astronomical Society are organising an online poster exhibition from 14 September to give early career researchers (ECRs) the opportunity to showcase their work publicly on the RAS website. The exhibition is open to all early career astronomers and geophysicists (including Planetary Scientists), from researchers to educators to policymakers, and beyond. In this case, early career astronomers and geophysicists are defined to be anyone who feels they are at an early stage of their career (e.g. is within ten years of their last degree, or is a student, postdoctoral researcher or equivalent), and we encourage entrants who have taken diverse career paths.

We encourage submissions spanning astronomy, geophysics, space science, education, outreach, diversity & inclusion. We welcome entries from early career researchers and from education and outreach professionals.

Participation is free, you don't have to be a RAS Fellow, and you can be based anywhere in the world. There will be awards for the best entries across different categories, as judged by a team of senior RAS fellows. Winning posters will be published in a future issue of A&G.

If you’d like to participate, or you’d like to know more, please head to this registration form (https://forms.gle/bTyRkjcefkdEaZdP9), you must be registered by midnight BST on 24th August in order to participate.

Any questions or queries about the poster exhibition should be sent to Áine O’Brien, RAS Early Careers Network Chair, a.obrien.1@research.gla.ac.uk
