After my blog to say I have some Annual Reviews to donate, I'm sending them to the Entoto Observatory and Space Science Research Center (EORC) library in Ethiopia for their students and staff I'm sure there are many RAS members who have books and journals they no longer need. So here's a challenge... Can we find a way to get them to libraries in research and educational institutes around the world that don't have the funds to purchase them? The Entoto Observatory and Space Science Research Center is the only observatory in Ethiopia and it offers Masters and PhD programmes. They and other institutes like them must be desperate for up to date well-stocked libraries for their students and scientific staff members. Can you identify them? Are there RAS members out there willing to donate recently published books and journals? Can we find a central collection point in the UK? Can we get them delivered to recipient libraries for free?
