The RAS is sponsoring Ada Lovelace Day, 11 October, this year, with an especial interest in ALD Live!, an evening of music, comedy and science fun.

ALD Live! features women working in science, outreach, music and comedy, having fun and celebrating Ada Lovelace and other inspirational scientific women. The RAS is a platinum sponsor of the event as part of its focus this year on the role of women, 100 years after the first women Fellows were elected to the Society in 1916.
