The Royal Astronomical Society's awards, medals, and prizes have a significant profile and play an important part in our activities. Who we choose to reward and for what purposes, matters to us. We are therefore conducting a review of our programme of awards and associated processes to ensure that they are fair, transparent, and inclusive. As we emerge from our 200 year anniversary, we feel it is a good opportunity to take stock of the aims and purposes of recognition generally and to ensure that we are reflecting this current view in our portfolio of awards.
As part of our review, we would really like to hear your views on these issues, as well as what you think we are doing well, and if there are ways we could improve. Please complete our Awards Survey at 'Royal Astronomical Society Awards Survey', it should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
The survey will close on Friday, March 5 (23.59 GMT).
