"I began by drawing the craters onto fine cotton fabric with Inktense colour sticks and water. Once dried the colours are fixed by ironing. I then used free machine stitching to ‘draw’ in more details and depth of tone."
Inspiration:
"I was inspired by the dramatic effects seen on the Moon near the terminator. These are the craters Theophilus, Cyrillus and Catharina, I used an image in Sky at Night Magazine and my own images Taken with my iPhone and spotter scope."
