Techniques used: " I programmed the lettering into my embroidery machine, then added the illustrations by printing onto special fabric from my computer. Finally, I "aged" the block by using Inktense coloured pencils."

Inspiration: "While visiting the Huntington Library here in California with my astronomer son, he drew my attention to this document in their collection. Galileo published these lunar observations in 1610, just a year after constructing his own telescope."
