Book review: The Age of Wonder by Richard Holmes

One of the collection strengths of the Royal Astronomical Society Library is its large number of biographies of astronomers. For History Day 2024, we are sharing a short reel by our archivist Kate Bond on Richard Holmes' The Age of Wonder, a classic group biography of 18th-century scientists like William and Caroline Herschel, whose working papers are held in the RAS Archive.
