Dr Paula Koelemeijer

Paula Koelemeijer is a seismologist based at the University of Oxford. Her main research interests focus on the structure, composition and dynamics of the Earth's mantle. To study this, she develops global and regional seismic tomography models with a strong emphasis on uncertainty and resolution quantification. She also has a long-standing interest in observing, analysing and modelling Earth's free oscillations and using these to constrain deep Earth structure. Recently, she has become involved in seismic deployments to monitor background seismicity and the analysis of seismic noise in urban environments.
