Dr Megan Ansdell

Megan Ansdell is a Program Officer at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, where she supports various programs related to exoplanet and planet formation research, machine learning and data-driven analysis techniques, and robotic planetary space missions. Prior to NASA, she completed research fellowships at the Flatiron Institute and UC Berkeley, focused on applying machine learning to astrophysical research problems and studying protoplanetary discs using radio interferometry and space-based time-series photometry. She received her PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Hawaii in 2017. She also holds a master’s degree in International Science and Technology Policy from the George Washington University and a master’s degree in Space Studies from the International Space University.
