Biography
I study earthquakes, their ground motions, and explore the spatial and temporal variability of the subsurface response to tectonic and climatic phenomena. My research focuses on designing solutions to reduce computational complexity for large-scale seismological data processing, leveraging both conventional and AI-aided sensing technologies across platforms ranging from laptops to large cloud systems. I am an associate professor at the University of Washington.
