Biography
Bertrand Rouet-Leduc is an assistant professor at Kyoto University, in the Disaster Prevention Research Institute. He obtained his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2018. His main research interests encompass the earthquake cycle, slip modes on faults from creep to slow slip events to dynamic rupture, the interaction between slip modes and earthquake nucleation, from laboratory scale to field scale. He develops machine learning and data science methods to better detect signals associated with the earthquake cycle in laboratory data, seismic data, and InSAR data.
