Biography
Andrew Valentine is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences, Durham University. His research primarily focusses on the mathematics of inference and inversion, and on developing connections with data science and machine learning. This work spans the spectrum of geoscience, but he has a particular interest in global and long-period seismology.
