You can apply for Friends of the RAS Membership by completing an online application form which can be found here.
Fellows Membership is aimed at those involved in astronomy and/or geophysics on a professional level. However, our members are a diverse group and come from a variety of backgrounds. The Fellowship currently consists of Ph-D level professional scientists; postgraduate researchers retired scientists, and undergraduates.
Friends of the RAS Membership is for anyone with a keen interest in astronomy and/or geophysics. The talks are pitched an accessible level suitable for the general public.
