Lucile Bruhat wins a Student Author Award form GJI.
Each year, the Editorial Board of Geophysical Journal International select two papers published by students as the best of the year. For 2017, Lucile Bruhat received an award for the paper entitled "Deformation rates in northern Cascadia consistent with slow updip propagation of deep interseismic creep"
(Lucile Bruhat and Paul Segall (2017) 211 427–449).
Lucile receives a cash prize and a certificate, and her success was acknowledged at the American Geophysical Union meeting and will be featured at the European Geosciences Union General Assembly in 2018. Her winning paper is freely available on-line, through GJI publishers Oxford University Press.
