Why explore a bit of a planet when you could fly a drone or a helicopter wherever you like?

Sofie Macdonald and Adam Stevens proved that they have their finger on the planetary exploration pulse with an article advocating the use of drones, airships and helicopters for planetary exploration, and before the ink was dry on their article – which you can read in the June A&G – NASA announced their plans for a Marscopter on their Mars2020 mission.
