Dr Emily Baldwin:

Impact craters – the roughly circular features that adorn every solid planetary surface – are the most common geologic feature in the Solar System. This talk will take you a guided tour of impact craters throughout the Solar System, including brand new images from Mercury returned by the MESSENGER spacecraft, evidence for recent cratering events found by the Mars Global Surveyor at Mars, and the striking impact scar that appeared on Jupiter in July 2009.
