The RAS Annual Picnic is celebrating its 21st Anniversary and to celebrate, this year the after picnic diversion is going to be something a bit different! Construction has been going on and we are heading into the final test stages!
Please meet as 12:30 near to the General Wolfe statue which is located just East of the main entrance to the Old Royal Observatory. If you arrive a little late, just head off Eastwards and look for the RAS Pennant flying! If further details are sought, please e-mail ras.picnic@hpsresearch.com
Please note that entrance to the Old Royal Observatory is free and details can be found here. The National Maritime Museum is close by, overlooked by where the RAS Picnic will be held. Please bring some sandwiches and please join in our celebration.
PS: We are looking for a venue for 2012 as it is unlikely the Park will be available to use due to the Olympics - please send ideas!
