Organisers: Dr A Kaye FRPS, Dr H Walker FRAS, Prof EFJ Ring FRPS, FRAS This is a joint 2 day meeting supported by the Royal Photographic Society and the Royal Astronomical Society to explore developments in imaging, detectors, techniques, and analysis. Monday 17 February will be organised by the RPS and will major on photography and digital imaging in astronomy. Tuesday 18 February will be organised by Dr Helen Walker FRAS on large format Space Imaging, including recent space telescope missions such as the Herschel Space Observatory and the Hubble Space Telescope, imaging from planets to galaxies. The fee for both days including buffet lunch is £48 for members/fellows.(£60 non-members, reductions for students, etc.)
